Until I was looking for things to turn. I didn’t know anything about the shape of the American native flute.

Instead of just a normal air hole, it has a raised adjustable cover over the main air hole.  The airway is also a slightly different shape to the traditional flute.  I search of the Internet will show a variety of designs.
